THE 5 YEAR PLAN FOR PUBLIC SAFETY

For generations, the public safety needs of Stinson Beach was well-served by a Fire District primarily made up of volunteer men and women from our community. Now, we are faced with demand that require the very best of modern fire safety, emergency response and EMS. The Stinson Beach Fire Protection District - led by our Fire Chief and our Board - has begun implementing a comprehensive 5-year plan to ensure that we meet these needs now and in the future.

We have already made key hires to make progress on the first pillar of the plan - but we have more work to do to ensure that we are a sustainable “first choice” employers for top emergency professionals. We are also moving decisively on all three of the other pillars with dedicated teams advancing the development of a new station, the strategic optimization of our apparatus and developing critical partnerships for more ALS medical support in Stinson Beach.
