3/4/2026 The SBFPD flag has been lowered to half-staff in honor of longtime volunteer firefighter and District Board member Rob Robinson. Rob passed away this morning after a recent fight with lung cancer.
His wife Leslie, a longtime volunteer at public events and supporter of the Firefighters Association, has asked that we lower the flag in his honor.

Why are the SBFPD flags flown at half staff?

The Stinson Beach Fire Protection District flies its flags at half staff for:

Presidential or Gubernatorial orders
Memorial Day
Death of a member of the Stinson Beach Community

If you would like the flags be flown at Half Staff to honor the life of a community member, an immediate family member must make this request by writing to info@stinsonbeachfire.org.

Once the request has been made, the flag will be flown at half-staff for 4 days, and the name of the deceased will be posted here.
